Make me photo

Students work collaboratively to develop a photographic creative response based on an artwork of their choice. They will be turning influential artwork into a photograph. Students are to be introduced to the basic principles of photography. They will be expected to develop their use of technical vocabulary as well as developing their ability to analyse the work of others, demonstrating critical and analytical understanding. Students will have the opportunity to develop their editing skills digitally using industry specific software such as lightroom.

Levitation

Students will have the opportunity to create surreal photographs where they are seen to be Levitating. They will be taught basic editing skills on photoshop and encouraged to think creatively to produce a series of gravity defying images.

Typology

Students will be introduced to the repetitious art of typological photography. Learning to look at the world around is is crucial to becoming a fantastic photoghrapher. How can you turn the mundane into somethimng aesthetically pleasing.

B Movie Poster

Students use found or AI generated imgaes to create a poster inspired bvy B movie poster of the 20c. Students learn how to use tex in photoshop. 

Hockney Joiners

Students learn how to research an artist and analyse their work by studying David Hockney. Work is created both digitally and manually exploring how viewpoints in photography can be manipulated.

Slinkachu

Students will expeeriment with macro photography and tilt shift texhniques using Slinkachu as inspiration.
